X2.....also eliminates corners to break down to 2. For the few extra bucks, definitely the way to go.

Good point. Hadn’t considered that.I'd go with one that covers all three doorways. Cold joints or saw cuts between each doorway if not down the center of each as well. Would be a shame to have nice aprons out front and strips of grass or mud between them that provide ample dirt to drag inside.
Also a good point. Seems the solid apron is winning!X2.....also eliminates corners to break down to 2. For the few extra bucks, definitely the way to go.
If you don't you'll wish you had. Also a good point. Seems the solid apron is winning!
Yeah, I‘m thinking so.If you don't you'll wish you had.
I see the supervisor stations against the fence. It's odd that I've become so used to seeing the cattle grazing the mountainsides rather than flat pastures. I see the aprons as extensions of floor space. Good call. How slick did they get the surface? After a 10 hour day, the slab is done.

Once the building is up, in about a month, Steven will make aprons (ramps) for the doors.
We haven’t yet decided whether to do one apron across the width of the building, or break it up into three separate aprons, one for each door. Either way, on the side wall he’ll add a 3 x 3 pad for the man door and an apron for the 6’ mower roll up door.
It’s been a long day, and I’m beat, even though I didn’t do much except to watch the process unfold. It was really interesting; I had no idea it would be this involved.
Tomorrow or the next day I’ll see about posting some more pics and maybe a video or two.
Progress!
Yes, the goats are keeping an eye on things, probably trying to figure out what is going on. I expect they’ll really be curious once the building goes up.I see the supervisor stations against the fence. I won't build a shop without a solid apron. They are absolutely that useful. Also a good point. Seems the solid apron is winning!
