Does this procedure go hand in hand with a borgeson regardless of manufacture
know it requires pulling the box drained of all fluid, no pitman arm attached, loosening the sector shaft all the way, then making the adjustment to the front by the input shaft with a spanner. Just can’t remember the specs you want for drag or anything

Let me know if you do this or get the link to the procedure. Adjusting just the top of the box wit the flat head 1/4” did nothing . I need a solution as to the play in this 500$ New box that’s supposed to be the Lamborghini of gear boxes. I placed all my hope in this after spending 500$ on suspension linkages ball joints tie rods and this borgeson.

I was under the assumption the adjuster on the top of box with the jamb nut and 1/4” flat head bolt was the one and only place to adjust these for the slop portion of the box

According to Turn One, the Borgeson is not a serviceable part.
“Lamborghini of gear boxes”? Not so much.
Turn One recently responded to some of my questions and this was part of reply:
“The Borgeson box is a Chinese aftermarket box which cannot be serviced”. Also, in a response to @fancyTBI they told him the Borgeson uses “archaic valving”.

I have never heard mentioning of Turn one? So they also sell and manufacture gearbox for the GMT 400 or just offer a rebuild service on a OEM housing that ends up being far better and Superior than the others that everybody goes with ?

Has anyone here used them for a 88-98 box ? Are they dead on with out this weird 1-2" of slop that's so called acceptable tolerance by borgeson?

I am ready to go with a mustang 2 rack swap for the GMT at this point

So they are misleading everyone? They make the manual steering boxes here? There's a difference?

The power steering says
All Borgeson power steering boxes are assembled and tested in the USA from globally sourced components and have a 3 year warranty. WARRANTY

So I can not do the " second " adjustment on a borgeson? With the 1/4" torque beam ?
I'm considering sending it back for the price paid.. I called turn one today they said there 600 series box can be adjusted /made to meet the feel of modern day steering but at the piece of 999$

Or I can just try for buying a stock box and adjusting it to meet the feel and need . I am amazed at the bs hype of borgeson and non serviceable that's crazy but seems about right in today's market

I just got off the phone with Borgeson.
These are not Saginaw boxes so the only adjustment is the lash on the top from what he said. He said they were Delphi 800 series but, it seemed like maybe he wasn't 100%.
I'm going to try it and look into my shaft and inside too. My play is maybe 1/2" if that at the box but it's telegraphing at least an inch in the steering wheel....
Pulling myself up into the truck while using the wheel as a handle probably isn't helping things.....

is there info on the Delphi 800 series to get an idea of what their story is?
