let the Bondo hit the floor
let the Bondo hit the floor
let the Bondo hit the floor
let the Bondo hit the....FLOOOOOOOOOOOOR!!!!!

Just getting started, 320 by hand.
Figured out pretty damn quick that doesn't seem like a fun time, still recovering from the shoulder fracture and tear.
So going to go to the local farm store when they open in a hour, and get some disks for my random orbit DeWalt. At least knock 90% down via machine.
Gonna be a fun dusty dirty day!!!
Can't wait....lol

P100's and fan at the door.
Actually a lot less dust flying around than I figured there would be.
But thanks for making sure I'm not a hypocrite!!!! Lol

I figured you were at least working in a well ventilated area. And noone wants that taste in their mouth for the whole day.

Took the truck and woman to go grocery shopping and grab supper.
When we were walking back out of the store she said "well this is the first time in almost 20yrs we haven't had to look for a black vehicle.....well for now anyway"
So there it is folks!!! Guess my mind has been made up for me!!! Lol

For the record, we have had 6 black vehicles, and currently own 3. My truck and sons are the only non black, for now anyway. And they are both blue.
I've had an idea for a black that looks like gun blue. Black base coat with a blue translucent(candy)shot over it. I think a little pearl esscents added to the blue would give it an antique gun blue look. I bet there is a painter out there that would know just the right mix for that color.

Well there she is, sanded all down to 220. Going to head out to see if I can find a primer to spray, on a Sunday of a long weekend in a small town!!!
I have 2 choices, and they are both farmer stores!!!!
Why the hell I didn't buy some when I got the cans of paint is beyond me....oh well.
It's not perfect, there is a spot above the handle filler that's a bit low, but for what I'm trying to accomplish right now I'm ok with it.
Just to make it look more presentable until the "big job".
No one is going see it driving by on the road.
