Okay, I read through 10 pages of this and it only got more confusing.

I have a 1998 K1500 with the most basic package available.

I want to do my cluster, HVAC, and 4x4 selector. What ALL do I need?

So i got my gauges in today and they look great, except there are a few hotspots. they are the wled-x cool white. I also got the t-1.5's and they dont fit in the hvac. my current hvac lights aren't a control board they are wired to a wiring harness. What do i do for the hvac now??

Can you remove one of the hvac bulbs and upload a pic of what it looks like? I will see if there's a way I can somehow make an LED that'll fit your hvac. My 95 hvac is a board....I don't think GM knew wtf they were doing for the 95 years....or maybe everyone was just stoned.

I have a few pics of parts I will post and maybe you can tell me if they look like the bulb or sockets used behind your hvac assembly.

All I can tell you is you need 6 of these for your dash. The ones on top. I have the x-x in my 98 and they work. and I guess the 4,5, and 6 are brighter.

I haven't done the rest so Idk lol. But while you're ordering you should get two more for the courtesy door lights.
and a 4410-x9 bulb for your overhead light. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-...DispPage&Page2Disp=/specs/festoon_4410-x9.htm

This is all from this thread, so don't yell at me if i'm wrong lol
