You've misunderstood. What I'm telling you is that the 1500 vs. 2500/3500 ball joint is not the same. To use the 2500/3500 forged uppers with your otherwise-1500 components - spindle, ball joint, etc. you will need to weld up/re-drill 2 holes in the forged upper because the bolt pattern is not the same.

And just FYI if you see a C2500 ball joint the same part # as a C1500 ball joint, that'll be for the 7200 lb GVWR C2500 (6 lug) which is the same suspension setup as a C1500; stamped uppers.

So I need the forged arms off a 8600 GVW truck?

IE: MOOG RK621234 {#12543998} R-Series; Complete Arm w/Ball Joint Info

Front Right Upper; 8600 Lb GVW

Not nearly as attractive pricewise as the K1500 arms, damn.

Thanks for the knowledge!
