I finally found the wheel covers I always wanted for the Burb.

The 16 inch variant put on 2500 trucks is much more common then these 15 inch variants (I think they were only put on vans).

Why do I like old man trucks so much? I'm 22.

I swear there is something wrong with my head, as literally everything I own screams AARP.

I was thinking the same thing. I remember old guys running the faux wire wheel hubcaps
and skirts back when I was 1/2 my current age? No doubt this proud GMT400 owner is
a superannuated senior. :0)

I second the notion. Any time I've spied an older truck in use and stopped to talk with
the owner, I have never been disappointed. Sometimes a colorful character, and always
left the conversation feeling just a bit better about my fellow man.

Guys and gals who drive old trucks on purpose have their ducks in a row and on parade.
:0)
Actually the square body trucks had an available factory option wire wheel cover. My Dad had a set on his '75 GMC Sierra Classic, before he put the Western Wheel turbine mags on it. Unfortunately he sold them long ago, or they got stolen; either way I don't have them anymore. They were pretty rare, I could get some $$$ for a set in good condition......

Saw this beat up crew cab Friday night, my brother wanted to take us to eat at a local seafood place. It pulled up while we were getting out of Rawhide; not too many times two of these big uns are in close proximity.
The red one I saw yesterday evening near the Laundromat.
I've noticed that a lot of OBS drivers use the high beams when driving, instead of the low beams. If you have lenses in good shape, not all yellowed, and brighter than stock bulbs, that helps a lot....

Saw this truck at a local garage on my commute. Sunday is the best time to get pix here because they have stuff all over when they are open. There's usually several 70s/80s rigs around, and often at least one OBS.
White sportside is one I've seen before, but not its backside....

never new that and have never seen them have any pictures or think you could find some
This is what I found on eBay. I remember the caps he had, having a GMC logo on the center though. Unfortunately most all of our family photos got lost in a fire a few years ago....
I looked in a 1978 Chevy truck accessories folder I have and they're not in it. I'm thinking these were mainly 73-75 or 76 at the latest. I'll ask on gmsb.com and see what those guys say....
