Man, that is a clean garnet red driver’s seat. My interior is good, but not that bright. Nice score!!!!!
Too nice to use almost! I had bought another 60/40 a few pages back to replace my bench but it didn’t have head rests and I wasn’t sold on it. I’ll probably turn the non-headrest set into a shop couch.
Mate, you guys don't know how lucky you are having access to yards like that. We used to have them back when I was a teenager and we all drove old Aussie Holdens and Fords and spent every weekend grabbing parts to keep them going but now it's all Japanese imports or late model stuff.
That is pretty sad sounding. I wish I could’ve pulled the fenders off this truck. They were so straight. Unfortunately it just wasn’t in the cards. I’ll have to scope out some more.

At the advice of @0xDEADBEEF to step back and tackle an easy project, I’ve decided to start on the ‘94.

Out of her slumber and a quick de-greasing…

A nice cool day in IL to wrench. Good breeze, little overcast, no bugs.

I was cutting the exhaust off and gasoline/oil poured out. Do I win a prize?

Does your truck leak a little oil? Well… look at these and feel better about your ol’ 400. It’s a 638 block. I wonder if it’s roller ready or not. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep this 350 around or junk it.

I took the starter bolts out and oil ran down the threads. I removed the service cover, oil poured out. It’s so greasy underneath!
