Are you talking about a pin stripe to separate the 2-tone?
Yes Rich, I think it needs something, probably just me getting old, trying to relive the glory days!!! :p Back when this truck was new I was rolling a 65 chevy RCLB 2wd with a inline 6 with a 3 speed on the tree, more rust on it than Krylon could handle!!! Oh yeah, those where the days, got that truck for 200 bucks, I couldn't tear that thing up, started everyday and never left me stranded any where, I spent my $ on my other cars, truck was a true work horse, now I got this one, if it wasn't for that ol' 65 I wouldn't have the skills to get this one where its at now!!
like maybe a single black, silver, or darker gold, but that's just me...
Liking the darker gold idea, so just a solid or maybe a metallic gold?

Interesting answer about those rally wheels. Thought they only came in the 5x4.75 bolt circle. Did the full size passenger cars use them(5x5 bolt circle)?

If it were me, I'd try to find a couple samples and see what you like best.
Thats what the game plan is, I've got a place to go and look at some pin stripe tape thats the really good stuff, he will let me take some home and see how it would look on the truck, thats on this weekends to do list!
It looks really good!
Thank you sir, its been a chore, but a good one to do!!

To the best of my research, GM trucks and Impalas' ran a 15x6.5, 15x7,15x8, w/ 4" back spacing and a 5on5 bolt pattern, there's a lot of debate on the 70's 80's Corvettes having 15x8's with a 5 on 5 pattern when ordered with the "high performance pkg", standard wheels would have been 15x8's with a 5 on 4.75 pattern on the non HP vette's, when I bought the wheels, I was told they came off a 1976 corvette Stingray with the L82 optioned 210HP SB engine...

Thanks for the wheel info. 15x8's would be too wide for my Belltech spindles, or I'd have to do some LCA butchery. Even with the stock 15x7 wheels, I had contact with them. Had to go to a 15x6 Astro van wheel for clearance. Looks like I may go with a 17" aftermarket rally wheel. Anyways, thanks again

A lot of GM full size cars had the 5x5 bolt pattern, up to about 77-ish. I just got a spare tire rim from a buddy that has a bunch of late 60's Buick Rivieras and LeSabres parts cars. I wanted a 15x6 and the one he gave me fit perfectly. Now I just have to sand blast the rust off, paint it, and get a 225-75R-15 tire for it.

The 77-96 GM full size cars have two patterns: 5x4.75 and 5x5. The Impala SS and Caprice used the larger pattern as did the Roadmaster Dad was always looking for aluminum wheels at the yards and swap meets for use on our trucks and utility trailer). The Olds and Cadillac B/C bodies should have that pattern too.
Where it gets confusing is on the 77-85 B bodies, there are both patterns. IIRC from my parts store days around that time period, the Impala used the small pattern and the Caprice used the larger one. However the fullsize station wagons used the Caprice (larger pattern) brakes and wheels. Our '82 Buick LeSabre Estate Wagon had the Buick styled steel road wheels on it, and they're 5x5 AND have a different width; 15x7" instead of 15x6". There is a spacer welded in the middle of the wheel to get that extra inch. They're probably hard to find now, but those would make cool "dare to be different" wheels on a 5 lug OBS or square body trucks.
