The shop across from the Laundromat always has interesting vehicles parked outside....
The black car with faded trunk is a 51-52 Chevy I believe, probably a Bel Air hardtop. I wanna look at it, and the red square body and the eldorado convertible. My dad's best buddy from high school had several of these back in the 70s and 80s. He took us to Kemah to eat seafood at a nice restaurant down there, and we rode in the Eldorado. Acres of red leather in the back....so comfy!

I look forward to your daily pics of vehicles. Your pics from Sunday made me take a magnifier to the first pic of which you thought the car in question was a Chevy. It may actually be a Buick 4dr. sedan. If you look reeeaaally close at the r/f fender, you'll see the infamous Buick portholes. I hope you do get a chance to take a much closer look. Being a kid of that era, you just knew every make and model of car ever produced, and I'm sure it annoyed the heck out of the parents who had to listen to the endless prattle of vehicle history

You are absolutely correct sir! I looked at it much closer and that is indeed a Buick sedan.
That shop is on a major street in this area and particularly on the weekends the traffic is bad. Plus many of our traffic lights are still semi functional because of the storm last week.

LKQ northville (Houston, Texas Northside off I-45) got this poor thing in today. Think it still has some usable parts on it, looks like it went through a tornado....shame cause a 2wd CCSB is a fairly rare truck.

Saw this one on the way home from work today. GMC, Burb ten spokes, cowl hood... looks decent.

Here’s a front shot from the other morning. The bumperettes I bought 5 years ago, they were new old stock for our body style. I have only seen them in one other truck. Honestly thinking about maybe taking them off and finding a nice push bar for her. But they’re rare to find in obs trucks so I dunno.

I have a hidden winch so if I do the push bar/grille guard route it would have to clear the rollers.
I’ll buy them from you. I’m looking for a set. What’s your price?
