Welcome to 1995?

You could also say welcome to 1966 with the first gen small block LT1, or you could say welcome to 2014 with the new gen 5 small block dubbed the LT1.

Yeah, GM needs to get a little bit original don't they?

Or the multiple gens of LS6.. seriously, GM.. there are other numbers and letters out there, try them!

I'm also shocked that they are going pushrod again, I figured they'd need to go OHC (and for ease of cam swaps, I wish they would!)

we should start a new thread for this.........but gm will never stray from pushrod. its amazing that that little puppy is lighter and smaller than lsx platforms. also the fact that i believe i read that they went back to the cam driven oil pump sorta proves that they are taking multiple technologies and making it the best they can.
