Use a little patch of fine-grit sandpaper to etch the spot on the glass and the tab before you glue them.

Just got back from a vacation and had to mow so I moved all the trucks onto the driveway. Luckily they all started but I found my gmc mirror couldn’t handle the heat. You guys usually just use window glue to repair this?
I will have to order one the auto zone one failed in 8 hours. I will admit it was well over 100* and I only gave it about an hour before mounting the mirror (instructions said wait 30min).I used this kit on my Suburban, ACDelco part number 10-1010.

AgreedLol, "a little rough". I'd trade all my rust, for that banana shaped core support any day.
That's a really nice looking truck.
I do plan to get the billet resi mounts for the rear or maybe play around with more weld on mounts and show the resi in the wheel openings more because Bling Bling. And I want to get proper spacers for the fronts top bolts but other than that I couldn’t be happier and I can’t wait to test them further.
Is "resi" short for reservoir? Looking at the pictures on Bilstein's website, I would have thought they would come with the bracket they show. Some newer GM trucks have an external reservoirs, so you might look at those for a parts-source/inspiration.
Yes Resi is short for reservoir.
They come with the rubber spacers and hose clamp mounts which work fine, they are just kinda ugly. They make a nicer bracket which I have on a different truck and I think they look better and are actually easier to install than two hose clamps trying to flip around.
That nicer looking bracket is what I saw on their website. That's kinda crappy that they show the nice ones, then send you rubber and giant hose clamps.
