HVAC technician here!

If you're wondering why the AC didn't take as much refrigerant (Freon) as you thought it should, did you have the compressor running while adding the refrigerant?

The system will only take so much refrigerant while the compressor is off.

The compressor needs to be pumping to achieve the full charge.

my ac was on during charge but clutch didnt spin
Confirm power and ground to the clutch is the first step. If it does not have power or ground next step is to find out why. The low pressure cycling switch on the accumulator is a high failure rate component on these trucks. If it has power and ground to the clutch, the clutch is defective.

I need some help guys basically I replaced everything in the AC system the accumulator the pump orifice tube condenser all that and it held a vacuum for about a half hour and everything seems fine so I refilled the system well after driving it for a while after I didn't noticing I hear a hissing noise coming from where were the overfice 2 would be in front of the vehicle and I want to basically and check to make sure that that's where the issue is and if it's still correctly so my issue is I'm wondering how can Evacuate the system properly at home as the DIY person and in doing that how is that done and will there be issues with me sucking oil out while trying to evacuation myself without a recovery tank or machine ..

If you don't have a recovery machine, you're not "evacuating", you're "releasing", and that's illegal.
+1 benifit of R152a. To use it in the manner consistent with the label on the can is literally to release it. I don't because it is cheaper to just recover it but it is literally what the product is used for, to blow out keyboards and stuff like that. I have an older R12 recovery machine that was given to me. I screwed adapter fittings on it and use it for my uses.
