I was going to do that very thing with mine, so I could lift it under the inside of the top bed rails. Except... the step sides don't have any lip under there to lift from.Useful bed attachments there. The last time I did that I built a tool out of some 2x4s.
It's hard with the stepside beds, as there is no lip on the inside, just flat walls. I like what they did, hard getting 3 others over at the same time to help with the bed. Gonna have to put those tie down anchors on my "one day" list.Useful bed attachments there. The last time I did that I built a tool out of some 2x4s.
Next time try a side pick with the hoist.I learned that my hoist doesn't go all the way to the middle of the bed. It's a good thing my bed was already janky, because I knocked another small section of SMC out of it.
But bonus points for not calling it fiberglass!! LolI learned that my hoist doesn't go all the way to the middle of the bed. It's a good thing my bed was already janky, because I knocked another small section of SMC out of it.

That's what I had to do for the same reason. I just laid some cardboard over the bed side top, in case I hit it with the hook or the boom.Yeah, that probably would have been a wise idea.
