Gotta give some props to Lazers. Made my life much easier until retirement. Much easier than water levels, levels or running string lines.

Yea, I have tinnitus and know it is likely from all the air tools I have used over the years. I learned to use safety glasses after I was dumb enough to lean in and look closely at a drum being cut on a brake lathe and got a very small piece of metal in my eye. Younger days of stupid teach you to be smarter.

When i was in High school my buddy was leaning over the front end revving the engine and the Harmonic balancer blew apart just missed his head went through the school roof

Flex fans used to be real bad about that. My Vo-Tech instructor was the first to explain the dangers of "plane of rotation" to me.

I have not used a flex fan in years... but i have had a few never had one come apart

That would become quite the sushi slicer! I had one come loose on a regular clutch fan and it exited out the bottom of the fan shroud.
