I got the truck on the road today -- nice to hve it back again. For the road test I threw a fishing rod in the bed, and drove a couple miles down a dirt road to a nearby pond. It was early evening. A couple casts and I hooked a decent size crappie. Let it go and headed back, testing the brakes as I went. Inspection tomorrow at 3:30. Still some tings to do.
Got the tailgate open -- the latch was stuck at the pivot under the handle from surface rust. Lubed it and pried the arms together to loosen it up and open the taiilgate. Got the tail lights fastened in place.
