Not to answer for him but I wouldn’t do a build without a turbo. When setup right you can double the HP without using a large camshaft or high compression. The street manners can be amazing if you know what your doing. Being conservative on the turbo size, good quality parts, good fuel system and good tuning. A stock 4.8-6.0 with a cam and valvesprings is an easy 650 streetable HP without any real downsides. Cooling would be the most challenging part but it’s not too hard!
Your a BAD influence Sean!!! Lol
I've been toying with the idea of a single set-up.

My neighbor offered me a spare GT-45 for $100 the other day. His garage is packed with $4000 turbos and he’s tripping over this “junk”. I will buy it and keep it here in case you get some liquid courage and get into it lol. The GT-45 is good for an easy 550-600 Hp without a bunch of lag.

What’s your thoughts on a daily drivable single turbo LS? Nothing fancy, just run on the WG spring. Has to be able to do stop n go traffic and idle for long periods of time with ac. I’ve never been around turbo LS motors, just the turbo mustang scene of the early 2000s and they were very problematic.
a 78/75 with an intercooler and you're golden as long as you make the upgrades needed to properly support boost. Fuel pump, injectors, and tune. Don't do the bare minimum either! Over pump it and over inject it. Safe over sorry!

Well, I'm excited to be putting the motor back together with all the accessories. I'm loosing this week cause my pro audio job has me in Branson MO. I'm doing sound for the Retromania tour. My very first concert I went to by myself was Quiet Riot/Whitesnake, in 1984, and now, 40 years later, I have the opportunity to mix front of mouse for Quiet Riot. Anyways, get to do sound for Night Ranger, Tiffany, Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Tom Keifer (Cinderella), Jesus Jones, KC and the Sunshine Band, Lou Graham (Foreigner), Stephen Pearcy (RATT), Steve Augeri (Journey), Star Ship, Bobby Brown, and a set by Pauly Shore. Gonna be a great week!!

40 years ago! Ahgh, I feel old - that's all the music I listened to (and still do sometimes).
I'm jealous of your job, have fun!
