The one's that framed my house must not have been taught to read a square or stringline for that matter. I've got doorways where the sill plate didn't line up across the opening (with drywall off). Maybe it was framed by the drywall guys?

I imagine y'all have a hell of a time building things square with the lumber they sell these days. A while back I put a tin roof on my shop and went to get PT 1 x 4's for the purlins. Every board they had looked like a friggin corkscrew.
The steel and aluminum they're selling now ain't much better.
