In my opinion, building up a 4L60e is like tempering glass. It's far stronger than it was, but it's still made of glass. If you're going to be driving it like you stole it or towing big loads, jump on up to a 4L80. If I were building a 4L60, I wouldn't spend big money on upgraded parts. Spend on what matters, and don't spend a lot.
