Cunningham Driving Shaft

i got a 1988 chevy k2500, no airbags .
i also have very sloppy steering and im trying to get rid of it and forums said this was my best bet.

is this a plug n play type deal? or is there extra work going into it. never messed with driving shafts before

I put it on my truck. Removed old one, installed this one. The plastic cover that factory puts over the steering shaft doesn't fit so neatly anymore, but as for the shaft, it's bolt-in.

Yes. No special modifications needed. It does help tighten the steering if your rag joint is sloppy.

I installed their lower shaft section to eliminate the rag joint. It made a heck of a difference.

do i need to put in any kind of lube inside where the pipes go into one another ?

I didn't. Mine came with a light oily substance in there, so I just put it on as it came. It may not be a bad idea to put something in there tho.
