Best air intakes?

Volant intakes are still available (temporarily, until they sell out for good) for the '88-'95 TBI 5.7Ls in these trucks. They're discontinued and as far as I know will not be produced again, so if you want one I'd get it ASAP. Pretty sure they're the only intake kit available for these trucks that's actually an improvement over stock and still draws cool air from the factory fender hole. Part number 1587 for the standard kit with an oiled gauze filter, 1587D for the dry filter.

There’s a small company called Procharger that makes an intake kit for these trucks. Replaces all the ducting

I had to look that up... I'll be danged. They are making supercharger kits for these trucks! Price tag north of $6K though. They have kits for the 5.7L and 7.4L, both TBI and Vortec varieties.

I really wanted one of the 150576 for the vortecs. Shouldn’t have waited.
