What kinda brackets is it? Mine I just used a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screw into the nut and got it tight that way

The whole grill assembly should come off with five small bolts. Two at the top on each corner, two facing forward toward the center at the top, and one inside the grill just above the bowtie at the core support.

Yeah that sucks. I just had mine off today. They should be 6mm. Doesn't you dad have metric sockets?

Aww man that sucks. For future reference, everything is metric pin or trucks except for drive train components. Ex) engine, trans, rears, t- case.
