Sounds like multiple clutch packs are burnt, your symptoms (only going by what you wrote) tell me that transmission needs to come out for overhaul.

Also, when you're using the word 'he', are you referring to the truck, transmission or the driver (assuming you were not the driver on that particular test drive

the truck was named curtis from factory so that’s what i call it
