Thank you HWB!!! Yes, the big GMC (2017) 3500 HD Denali aka Big G and the 95 GMC the one that just got lowered, aka Little G, sit in pretty good company with the Caddy, thats the Momma!!:D!!! She's a 62 convertible, with its original rebuilt 390 V-8, with a retro fitted 700R4 tranny, stock rear end, disc brakes on all for corners, she wears the same colors as when it left the factory, Ebony exterior paint white top and interior, fully bagged, and at some time the Holley sniper fuel injection will get installed, last thing to bring her truly into the modern era of driving.

So without further ado, here is Livie... She's been feeling a little neglected with all the work that has been done to the 95!!!:(
She's been with me for the last 25yrs...
Sweet!!! Jimmie Vaughan's '61 Cadillac(500" CAD) and Gene Winfield's '62 Cadillac (Northstar powered) are two of my favorite customs. But I definitely like the stock ones too.

Mmmmm, nothing like a fresh rebuilt tranny hot off the tranny work bench!!! Curtisy of Nick's tranny shop!! Did the 4hr round trip to pick it up and get it back in the garage for install, its looking pretty good and will look even better bolted to the motor with the driveline attached to it :p !!!

Install will begin in the A.M. I will be using rubber lines rerouted to my liking to the factory tranny cooler, other than that, all other parts are "stock" and will be placed as the factory did, along with a new tranny mount, followed by a repainted tranny X member, bolted in with stock hardware...

Tranny has just about the best you can get as far as internals are concerned and I up graded the pan to a little deeper than stock with drain plug... stay tuned

The underbelly is looking clean.
Thank you sir, doing as I go along, its almost there!!

Pretty predictive day, she's on the ground, nothing leaking, which is a good sign, got a little squeak from the rear leaf bushings, think I will let it sit till the weekend, loosen upper/lower bolts for the rear rear shackle and retighten them, see if that makes a difference, they are stock OEM bushings for leafs and the bushing for the shackles itself, was already in there when I bought them. Truck had old 2" drop shackles and I needed to go back to stock for the 6" flip...

The tranny is GREAT!!! Up shifts are smooth as well as the down shifts, haven't ran it at freeway speeds yet, do that in a couple of days, tiny steps first, then the all out run!!!:driver::p!!

Got to one door panel after a quick shake down of truck, THANKS evilunclegrimance for the door panels, they are perfect, nothing like OEM for the fit and finish for the WIN!!!! Damn power mirror switch broke ( you'd think you could get a little more than 30yrs outa it:p!!) just have to get one headed this way...

Front tires are close to the fender well, no rubbing/scrapping was observed durning shake down run, but I think it best to roll them just to be on the safe side, rear has no clearance issues at all, think I'm good to go there...

I feel like those door panel inserts need to be brown serape blanket Like this
OH YEAH!!! The wife and I was just discussing that very same subject!!! Great minds!!! :p We we're thinking the upper section and the lower carpeted section done, I don't think that would be to much going on as far a too busy!!! The wife is diffenitly on board with this idea, we have almost every color in the serape blankets except that color you posted, go figure, but being in the southwest won't be too hard to find, stay tuned on this idea!!! Talk about cool factor!!! Thanks man!!!

Especially since I went with the dark brown carpet early this year, could be a special edition "Serape Luxury Edition" GMC!!! Rare find, only a couple known to exist!!
