I think the driver side needs it more than the passenger, but both are actually off about the same. I blame the LMC mounts. I may try switching to the GMT900 mounts if I can get them from the dealer still
If GMT900 mounts work, then GMT800 should, too? Those two generations seem to have a lot more in common than either with the GMT400.

In fact, here's a seriously expensive set of body mounts made w/silicone rubber, that show to fit 2006-2014, so that's GMT800, GMT900, and K2XX. https://sbfilters.com/products/body-mount-2006-2014-extcrew-cab

Do note they show different sets for early 800's - 2001-2005, and then the 2006-up through K2XX trucks. No 1999-2000 800's for some reason.

If the mounts were really that universal, I'm surprised they don't show them as fitting a GMT400 application. You'd think they would want to cover as much ground as possible to widen the customer base. Looks like a nice product but wow $$$. Comes with all the hardware, though.

EDIT - after looking at what regular body mounts w/hardware cost form Dorman and others, for GMT800's, I guess the S&B price isn't out of line at all. Wow.. easy to spend more than 5 bills in a hurry.

I was able to get the body mounts for about $200 from my local dealer. I’m going to give them a try.

Today is the day that I send my PS pump and steering box to Turn One. I had to put a $200 deposit down on them ($100 each) but that will be applied to the final bill. Turn around is 2 weeks or so. Plenty of time to get it back before Southern Illinois Truck Showdown at the end of August.

Curious to hear how the body mounts work out. Which year/model did you select?

Richard
I didn’t use a specific year/model; I had part numbers from an old GM Truck Central post by Aloicious. His write up is good, installed these mounts in his ECSB GMT400. Thankfully I was able to source them directly from GM.

From his write up:
Here are the GM part numbers as well as the total quantity you’ll need to get again:
Upper Mount 25791031 - Qty 2
Lower Mount cushion 25791032 - Qty 2
Washer 15854745 - Qty 2

The upper mount however has been superseded by a different part number of 25994881…below is a picture of both part numbers, the mount on the left is the original P/N 25791031, the mount on the right is the newer P/N 25994881. You can see where the red arrows are pointing which shows the difference between the two. In this swap I used P/N 25994881 (the one on the right in the image) for both sides. I received 1 of the #25791031 mounts and found it difficult to find another one. Either part number should work though.

Don’t forget to post the dimensions on those, and I’ll post the OEM sizes. Hopefully, they are the same.
