front ends back on. It's almost ready to go for a break in drive
How many times have you heat cycled the new motor? I recommend three times at least. Run it at 1500 RPM's for about 20min. then let it cool completely and do it again. Some say it's not necessary but it has always made my engines last a long-long time.

So far so good with the new engine. Ive been driving the truck for the last couple days. I'm glad I went with the smaller camshaft vs the original choice as it has really good street manners with the smaller cam. I have really good oil pressure on 10w-30 and so far no knocks or rattles. I 'm going to recoup some money and then its off to the body shop.
