Hi I swapped my 96 c1500 with a 5.7 Vortec to a 0411. I swapped it and it started and ran not perfect but enough I could drive I parked it. Then the next day I drove it into my garage to clean up my cables and double check my pins. I went to start it and it cranked but it won't start it smells like gas so I think my spark plugs aren't firing. I'm just looking for any suggestions and best things to check. I have tried checking all the pins I think could cause it to not start but still nothing I've checked the CMP and CKP sensor the coil pack wires I also replaced the spark plugs what else should I look at. thanks!

Did you ever figure out the problem? I have tbe same issue other than mine doesnt have crank signal.I drove mine to where it sets tore it down to do the swap did the swap an now 2months later still nothing I've checked the wiring I know 10 times are more we've did a continuity test on the ckp sensor wires that was good hooked up a scope to read crank position wave lengths an its splotchy an all over the place. I've changed cleaned an added grounds still nothing but injectors are firing .

I kinda forgot about this thread I checked everything and spent weeks trying to fix it and all it was was a blown engine ignition fuse in the under hood fuse box. Your issue does seem more complicated so I'm not sure.
