1995 Suburban-k2500.
Yesterday I pulled the rear carpet to wash it since I hadn't cleaned it in nearly 3 years. Discovered some hidden rust below it (dealing with that already) and the padding has seen better days. My dilemma now is whether to put the nasty padding back, replace it, or do something else entirely. Currently only have the kids in the second row and use the back like a truck bed although I do kind of like the carpet for when I have to climb back there.
If I replace it, what should I use?
Thoughts on different flooring in the 3rd row and cargo area?
