Steering Wheel Upgrade

Hi guys,

I am looking to Up grade / Down grade my steering wheel on my 1996 so I can hopefully gain a little extra belly room. I am wondering what steering wheels ( aftermarket or OEM ) you guys have went with.

Would an older style OEM steering wheel on a non airbag truck fit and work well on a 1996 ?

The wheel is still the same dimension. Think about a sport wheel smaller diameter, maybe " Grant wheels" still has some. I have a 13 inch ? Wheel in my 93.

The splines changed in 95 so it won't be a direct fit up an I doubt you'd gain any room anyhow

If you guys don't want a factory wheel forever sharp has some that are pretty flat, smaller in diameter an they have adapters that will work for 95-98(00)
