Self misaligning rockers

I have had the cheap knock-off "polylocks" come loose. You really gotta crank down on the set screw to get them to hold and I would pop the covers off after a few hundred miles and re-check.

Well…one doesn’t crank down on the set screw to tighten, that will all but ensure them coming loose.

Set the poly lock to its appropriate height, set the set screw against top of rocker stud, then while keeping said set screw stationary wrench on the nut to fully tighten.

The body of the poly lock threading down on the stud, while set screw is held firm, forces the whole shooting match to “lock” together.

One could buy a gizmo to do that exact job however, if one has an ounce of dexterity, same thing can be accomplished with a box end wrench and an Allen key.
