GMT 800 4wd LCAs will work and they are forged. May need to do minor mod on shock mount for the shock to fit, but otherwise it’s a direct fit.

I have forged LCAs for a ‘99 K2500 that I harvested from a wrecking yard, but they are relative unicorns and expensive to ship.

Went through this on my 98 cc 4x4. As of about 5 years ago they didn’t exist. I’m guessing they still don’t. I bought used, had them powder coated, and replaced ball joints.

^^^Showing Stamped and Forged LCA’s.
JMO, that stamped LCA actually looks pretty beefy, in comparison to the forged LCA. Front part of the forged LCA looks a little spindly, but i'm sure it's sturdy. Forged-tough, not cast.

i re did my 97 with poly bushings. and mavotec ball joints. it was a 2500 what state are you in? down in texas there are ample parts trucks on marketplace.
