6" lift is just a cranked 4" lift up front IIRC, so the 4" lift would yield better ball joint angles.

you might be right I do not know about that but what I do know from looking at them both just is that 1he 6'' comes with ad a leafs and the 4'' dose not every thing else looks the same to me but I could be wrong here are screen shots of parts

It's what I read eons ago on FSC. The Dick Cepek kit in comparison was supposedly a true 6" lift with good Z dimensions.
