How to wire electric fans

I have bought aftermarket dual efans and im stuck on where to put my temperature switch on my 89 silverado. Im using this wiring harness for it

You are about to get a bunch of replies on why not to use electric fans, so prepare! They are really just trying to help but come across grumpy! If you run into cooling problems it because electric fans just can't move air like a clutch fan.

I would put it in the right side head between cylinders 6 & 8. The same port as where your temp sender is on the left side.

You could get a t-stat housing for a 4.3 v6 S10 pickup (four seasons #84993) that has a threaded boss that would accept the temp. sensor

Yes, and if that head was mounted on the left side, it would be for the dash Temp Gauge.
