What about the ABS under hood insulation kit w/ logo from LMC? If I’ve tried to keep my truck as stock as possible, would you go with aftermarket/custom look under the hood or no??
I wouldn’t, but that’s what I want for my truck. If you like them, definitely go for it.

Then peeled the fabric off the finish side.

Ahh, I get what you’re doing now. I probably should have paid more attention.
No guarantee it’s doable. I’m a bit concerned I won’t be able to get the fabric to lay into all the different contours without wrinkling. It is thin, very thin material and really seems exactly like the original material. It also has “some” stretch as does the original, that will help.

I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out for you.
If I can’t get that fabric to work, I will use a stretchy spandex/lycra material which is also polyester. That material should easily contour to insulator.
And for those wondering about polyester choice consider this:
BUT, I just might spray with a spray on fire retardant chemical, under $20.00 on Amazon.
