Good luck finding a reliable replacement. I wanted the same for my girl's 1990 K2500 and found Retro Manufacturing. It looks very close to what OE is and works great.

Hi James,

There is an audio and electronics section to post radio related questions in, not axles and brakes. That being said there are a variety of units on eBay right now that you could scoop up for a decent price.

@df2x4 can we move this to that sub forum?

Hey James, I am not sure if the Chevy and GMC radios had any differences but I replaced the radio in my 1995 k1500 Silverado for an Android Auto unit. Old radio worked fine, just wanted to be able to connect my phone easier. I don't remember ever trying to play a tape so that part is untested.
