IF it clears the 4L60E crossmember mounting location

I'll have to park my Suburban next to the our K2500 and look at the crossmember / exhaust position in detail. The Suburban has the 4L60E now and a 4L80E conversion / crossmember relocation isn't in the near-term plans.

and the manifolds have the correct diameter exits.

So L31 exhaust manifolds were, perhaps, not common across the L31s... I'll have to give this some consideration.

I have no idea as why those front and mid sections of pipe cost so much with only one cat on each since you can get 3 inch high flow cats for so cheap https://www.ebay.com/itm/3558800681...xkbBkCywJzcsie9f+1335nbhE=|tkp:Bk9SR_qphLymZA I wish some made those pipe sections with no cat on them the jegs pipe is 2.25 but it is only the front section and it seems to me that all the mid and or back section that you can buy online are all 2 inch od

So can the larger L31 K2500/3500 OE exhaust pipes be used as a bolt-on retrofit for the L31 K1500 trucks?

Has anyone done this?

It appears likely but I have yet to study it.

I knew a guy who bolted up a factory 2500 cat setup to a 1500. He didn't have any issues. I don't recall for sure if he messed with the manifolds, but I'm leaning toward no.
