Right now I'm in the process of replacing my rear speakers on my 97 and I thought I try to throw another small write up on where the trim clips are actually located on the cab, also getting rid of my 24 year old speaker wire in the back
Also PLEASE READ(I'm not showing you necessary how to take this panels off just the location of the clips but I would like to remind you these panels are getting old and they're fragile. You must take your time. When I was struggling with a clip I just took a 10 minute break from the project, if you get going to fast you're going to break a clip or a panel and that's not fun. BUT I DONT want anyone getting overwhelmed by the project I'm 16 and I pulled this project off in 3 by myself and only broke 1 clip which isn't too bad. It's actually really fun and a good project too a lot of people say it's a pain in the ass but it's really not just be careful)

There is a total of 17 on the driver side trim and make sure to take the bottom section off first makes your life a whole lot easier

The passenger side has way less clips only 2 but it's in there pretty good and takes a little finessing to get out
https://photos.app.goo.gl/H6bqXa44cd73fitV7sorry about this photo being not so great but there's 5 clips on the top and 4 on the bottom, this panel is also pretty tough but you just gotta take your time and be patient
https://photos.app.goo.gl/6K4Pzi4FJUke35pe7this top piece isn't too bad but as you see the last own broke off a lot of clips to the inside of this panel there is also 5 clips on the bottom of this one and 3 up towards the front
