Hey testing the waters. Thinking about selling my 1998 K3500 CCLB dually.

I bought her in 2020 and swapped a 95 12V Cummins into it. Was originally a 6.5 NV4500 truck. Still has the Chevy NV in her and the BW4401. She was originally sold new in Newcastle, Wy and the I'm 2nd owner. She was used in a concrete business until the 6.5 did what 6.5's do.....Previous owner loved that motor so much he massaged the oil pan with a hammer. He moved to Nebraska (where i bought her) and I had her shipped down. Swapped it in my buddies field in Nunn (my HOA loves this truck).

Was leaking water through the cowl and corroded floorboards. I stripped it and reshot it in proper GM color.

Has vinyl floor interior with power leather seats. Has afyermarket power, heated tow mirrors. 3 gauge A pillar pod paint matched to interior with Maxtow green on white digital gauges. Fuel Pres, Boost and Pyro. Cracked dash with dash cover. 10.5 inch Atoto S8 with GPS, AV cables. (My kids play Genesis and Playstation in it when parked.) Replaced factory speakers with 6.5 Kickers.

I've regeared the rear end to 3.42's. Have yet to regear the front diff. Will come with rebuild kit and 3.42 ring and pinion.

Has custom 4 inch exhaust, 3917700 exhaust manifold flipped over with heater core line mounting studs rewelded in proper positions. Custom downpipe to 3 sectioned pipe, comes up through bed into a Donaldson muffler and out the stack with a rain cap. Kenworth heat shield that was cut to fit.

He351 turbo, 0 fuel plate, 4k gsk springs. Genos garage FSS relay. Motor is otherwise stock.

AVNW mounts and power steering pump kit. DCS alternator and compressor plate kit. Has Dodge compressor.
Has a Pro Comp lift that's half installed lol.

She needs paint. Has flaking GM white paint. Dents and dings etc.
Surface rust on frame. Enough for color. Nothing being eaten. Roof needs restripped and shot. Did it myself (outside) and primed and sanded it. Didn't turn out as well as the interior.

I've spent well over 100 hours into her. Possibly hundreds of hours. I'm selling her because of that reason. I've worked on it so much that's it's just no longer enjoyable. I work on it more than I drive it. (She's never broken down or left me stranded.) I'm always adding something, fixing something, replacing something and after 4 years and countless hours I'm still no where close to where I want to be.
Screwing with IFS this week on a one ton pickup and I finally reached my breaking point. (Why put IFS on a 1 ton?!?!?!)

She runs, she drives, she'll pull your house down. She has little things here and there that need finishing (theres a lot of them) . I will continue adding to this original post as I remember all the things I've done and added to the truck. She's one of a kind and turns heads wherever she goes. Who knows, I might change my mind.
