Hi guys,
I've been registered here for a while, but due to some restrictions I can't log into the site from Germany - I'm currently in Denmark and wanted to show you my trucks.
The 1969 Custom /10 will be a bolt-off restoration. Many parts are already powder-coated, the 383 stroker is finished, a few things still need to be welded on the cabin.
I registered the 1992 C1500 in Germany for the first time in 2021 after a few technical changes such as orange indicators and different headlights. It was sold last month, and I've now got a 1996 Tahoe K1500 2-door with almost 247105 mls from Belgium ;-) Here, too, the same technical changes as with the C1500 are pending, but then it will be my daily.

Nice rides, C10 looks great, you can do a lot with that Tahoe. They are very nice.
I don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to login into a friendly automotive site, Are the login restrictions coming from the US or Germany?
I think that I can't log in in Germany because of some restrictions from my internet provider. I don't use cable, only mobile networks. Here in Denmark I can log in to your site using a public WiFi network without any problems.
the C10 will need a few more years to be finished. The stroker already costs more than the whole truck did back then :-D
I have to replace the brakes on the Tahoe and change all the fluids, the rest is just cosmetic. Clean the interior and get new covers for the seats. Otherwise it's still in good condition considering the mileage and age. I bought it blindly based on the photos online ;-)

Wow......those would be impressive here in North America, even more impressive there I would imagine! Probably spark many conversations. Really friggin cool!
Thank you ;-) There is a large community for US cars in Germany. But the requirements for registration are head-scratching: We have to convert to orange indicators - that's not the problem: orange bulbs in the chambers for the reversing lights, pull a new cable and a separate reversing light under the bumper. It gets more complicated with the headlights. Either they have an E-number (like the one from ARTEB, RPO T84) or they are a very specific version from SYLVANIA that has already been tested. For the C1500, I first had to buy the lighting report for €250 and then get the right (used) headlights for it on eBay. The bottom line was almost €700

Regarding the login restrictions, that's disappointing, and the first I've heard of any network restrictions blocking this site. You might look into VPN (Virtual Private Network) services in your area. You generally have to pay for such services, but they're extremely handy for situations like this where a service provider is limiting access. You can make it appear as though your computer/phone/tablet is located anywhere in the world.

Great looking trucks, welcome to the forum!

FYI the Brazilian Arteb headlight and tail light housings are available for purchase new here thanks to the efforts of @1998_K1500_Sub and @carlos_lightsbyarteb.

The Arteb tail lights seem like they might be handy for your situation, although it sounds like you've already solved the problem.

^^^ Indeed.

We've had a number of members in Europe acquire the Arteb headlights and/or taillights in order to meet ECE compliance.

@micha912 and I have previously discussed the Arteb options :waytogo:
