Anybody have a GM part number or a source for quality inner snap rings that go on the front 1/2 ton IFS axles...? I've read the Yukon brand is a heavier guage wire and don't fit well. Incompetent builder lost one and broke my actuator.

Trick I learned, when getting them ready to reinstall. Use some grease and lather it around the snap ring when in the groove. Then move the ring to where it is centered as if it floated without touching the groove at all. Then slam it home quickly. When the weight of the ring makes it hang down in the groove while installing, it fights to collapse as you slide it home.
