Did you figure it out? You had 7 mistakes. Brakes are more important than anything else, unless your on fire, then that's important. But if can't stop , your hosed. And then whoever or whatever stops you is screwed or dead. Don't take shortcuts with brakes.
Use the manual, take pictures , draw pictures, if your not sure , work smarter, not harder.
Ya ended up reaching out to a buddy, turns out the brakes were messed with before and never put back on properly as the previous owner had capped and cut the lines from leaks, but i rather have them fully functioning so cleaning up a mess

Draw back here is the rear brakes never worked from get go as previous owner cut the lines to save money and messed up the springs, hence even when i kept one side assembled there was no way i could have reassembled it
^^^ the silly things people do

I hope the pictures and images posted by everyone have helped

Too, those are the 11" JB6 brakes (or so they appear), so they're very worthy of a fresh rebuild and being put back into service.

The problem with using one side as a reference when you didassemble the other side is that you assume the other side is correct.
That idea is only valid if you did the brakes before and they worked and youve forgotten how they go together..
On a truck this old you cant use whatever goofy **** somebody else did as a reference
In general when doing drum brakes assume that everyone who has gone before you is an idiot.
The only time you can use your far side drum setup as a reference is if you have done it and its been so long that you forgot.
