I recently swapped out my 350 with a 454 in my 1990 GMC half ton 4x4. Can I swap the stock trans with the 4l80?

It basically bolts right up if you have the rear adapter with it, assuming its a 4x4. Then you need a stand alone computer to run it or you rewire it for manual shift and take 12v to it. Might need to fabricate some shifting linkage? I put a 94 454 and 4L80e in a 74 k1500, and it was really easy.
