Locker for 2wd

Well. I just left the wrecking yard the guy said they didn’t make a 14 bolt for the 4x2 and he only has 4x4 14 bolt. I tried to explain to him the width on the 4x2 is shorter than the 4x4 and he was very adamant that they only made one width for the 14 bolt. So I’m not sure what to do. I guess find another wrecking yard and 4x2 14 bolt.

What a moron. I’m staring at my 2wd 14bolt right now, albeit 8 lug.

6 lug 14sf 2wd is hard to find. Maybe that was what he's talking about. I'm pretty sure the 8 lug is the same between 2 and 4wd. Something else to look for, mid 2000s vans. I found a Dana 60 6 lug with discs in a local yard. Wanted to get it but didnt have tools, and parts guy was amonth behind..

Yeah. He asked me what I was looking for so I told him 2wd 14 bolt. He’s like they never made a 14 bolt for a 2wd. I’m like yeah dude they did. I have a whole forum of people who will show you otherwise. And he’s like 4wd is only 14 bolt 2wd is 10 bolt. And the. Then he got a call and ignored the rest of my questions.

That would be wild to put a Dana 60 in my truck lol.

Hes an idiot. Good friends bother had one. Wanna say it was a 95, 2wd 2500 6 lug. They are out there, but they are tough to find. Been trying to go to the yard n check out inventory, but no time. Even car-part doesn't list that 60 rear. Wish I would have snagged it....
