So I worked for about 2 hours last night. I got my LQ4 pulled, got the cam out, heads off, and accessories/sensors pulled off. I cleaned the LY6 up, swapped out the cam, got lifters installed, and now I'm just waiting on my ARP head stud kit. I'll get the heads on as soon as those come in, and then I should be ready to back in with the motor......
I know I have some followers that are LS swapped. I have a few GEN 3/4 parts that I believe I woukd like to sell. If there's anybody that would be interested, juat PM me and we can work something out. ICT Billet valley cover, ARP stud kit, timing cover with turbo drains, a set of 823 heads, and gen 3 and 4 truck intake

Made a little time tonight. Started on the NOS install. I'm an instruction reader, so I read that thing 3 or 4 times. Holly has some fitment issues with the silenoid mounting and hard line alignment. I'll contact them in the morning and problems solved. For the most part, I'm pretty satisfied with the kit as a whole...

So, I finally scheduled the rest or my Holley training. If you've been following, you know I went fir tier 1 and 2 a few years back. Now I'm going back for the tier 3, but I scheduled for all three tiers. Just to get a little refresher on tier 1 and 2 before I tackle 3. Plus it gives me a week in Bowling Green to check **** out!
Today is my first day at work this week. My pro audio job had me at "The Star Concert Hall" in Branson MO installing the PA in the "B" room. Anyways, my stud kit came in on Tuesday, so hopefully, I'll get it put in tonight and get the heads fastened down. I'm a firm believer in retorquing the heads after they have sat for a day. Let everything settle down and find it's place, then a last little check to make sure everything is well.......
