I still say it's a cleaner look than the straight cut ends on the K3500 bumper.
I don't blame you! I searched for ages for a diesel bumper, I finally caved back in 2018 I believe and bought the chineseneum smoothie bumper off Ebay, it fit alright, but I'm thinking the factory bumper is going to fit a whole lot better.OOoohh I'm jealous

It's hard to find nice ones, I can find beat up ones all the time; I figured $40 and being 5 minutes from the house makes it enough of a deal I can look past the couple flaws.
I'm on the fence of keeping my smooth bumper and doing a couple better modifications to it for the Z71 guard; I added a couple studs similar to how they're mounted from the factory. Only instead of studs or a small bolt with a nut on the back side I'm going to try and drill and install a threaded nutsert for a cleaner look.

Slapped the camper shell on for sh_ts and giggles, it still needs a LOT of work before I'll be happy with it but the idea is there.

Please no, my wife has already given me so much crap about it.
It'll only be a winter time thing mainly once it's fixed up, it's mainly on the truck right now just to get it out of the way so I can clean up around where it was.

My wife thinks they’re ugly as sin, unfortunately for her I kinda dig toppers. I’ve wanted to find one for my ‘72 for years since grandpa had one on it. My dad used to tell me stories about grandpa throwing a mattress back there for dad and his sisters when they’d travel with it
