Still fairly new to these trucks. Today I noticed some sounds that I have not heard in the past month or two of owning this truck. I’ll attach an audio recording, if you listen closely you can hear occasional pops/puffs throughout…. Is this a misfire? Thanks in advance.

I don't think so, what is history of truck? Are you feeling any jerks or sags when driving ? Has truck been setting as you said you are new to these trucks. Do you have any other concerns ?

I’ve only owned it for about 2 months but overall truck is very clean and seems mechanically sound. No jerks or sags while driving. Idle does feel more “rumbly” than it used to when I bought it, not quite as even/smooth.

Here is another audio clip, you can hear the ticking/chugging is a regular pattern now. Maybe this is normal sounding idle? I’m not sure, it just definitely didn’t used to be this loud and used to sound more “even” not as chug-y “wub wub wub/tick tick tick”.

Exhaust manifold bolt torque specs are pretty low on my truck. I think 75% of them were loose last time I checked.

I do know that the shorter trips are harder on these trucks, they like to be driven, but would say that for other makes as well. Reason being anytime you run something for shorter periods of time it doesn't release the chemicals that build up in fluids (oils) causing those to break down or change viscosity which changes how it moves thru a mechanical component (sounds). Mileage and age also figure into how something operates or sounds. Know this isn't an answer to your question but if it bothers you take it to someone you trust to listen/feEl while it's running
