I hear that awd astro vans share the same lower control arms and are still available new.

Folks have used the Astro arms on the K-series trucks. They "fit".

APPARENTLY, there's a minor change in the ball joint angle, so the manufacturer doesn't list them for K-trucks, or recommend that they be used on K-trucks. I learned this from another post on this forum, but I don't remember which thread or who mentioned it.
