Jk lol. We should just be getting the rain from it. But watching that spiral on radar hit springfield and the eye edging towards us was pretty eerie lol.

I Wanted to take my battery tray off and clean/paint it because it’s rusted to the point of minor flaking. But god forbids today. I took it off and then got drenched pretty bad.

I am like you, I have to work out in the driveway. Nothing worse than getting set up and the weather changes, and mines my daily driver so I have to have it back together by the end if the day so I can use it.

Damn dude that would suck. That’s something I’m really lucky and grateful for, that I am able to just work at my own pace and do it all properly.

I’ve been looking at these big canopies at Walmart and Home Depot, for some shade since it’s so hot out. Maybe you’d find it useful for rain.

The other side on my lowers will go in all the way but this one gets stuck here. I’ve been straining myself and hammering and pushing for the last 45 minutes and can’t get ONE arm in.. wtf

This is going to sound condescending, but it is not meant that way - are they on the right side? The lowers should be easy to sort. The steering stop should be closer to the firewall.
The top, use old photos as a reference.

Now - no you are not doing something wrong. They are a PITA to put back in. I struggled with mine. I used a floor jack to press them into place. When I got the front in somewhat square I would throw a long punch through the bolt holes and work on the second bushing. The uppers I had to use a hammer to put in place.

No worries! I don’t take offense to anything often. Even if I didn’t put them on the right side, I tried both on both sides. I’ve swapped them around every different way possible and the upper arms do the same thing every time. It’s really messing with me.

The lowers, I feel like they can go in. I had it close and then it fell out. Like 8 times. I’ll try a floor jack that might actually work better.

It’s just like, sitting on it? This is with that left side able to be hammered in. It’s like I can do one of them but not both.

Did the shop not press them in right? Do you guys see them pressed too far to one side or the other?

Do I need to punch the alignment thing out before putting them back in?

I’m sure they will fit because the old ones did. That’s what is messing with me. It has to be the bushings. Wrong length or pressed in wrong. Cause wtf
