I haven’t installed these on a newer truck. I’ve read as K20 stated there will need to be some grinding for clearance. Or use a set of Knuckles from a older trunk in pick a part.
I would try and get the older knuckles if I were to do it again honestly.

Hey there,
I'm about to go that route on a 1997 K1500 4x4 Burb, what are the knuckles we have to use so we don't have to grind the stops?

Also, how much "turn" do you loose if you don't grind anything at all.

That thread was a lifesaver, thank you all!

You need the early 90s knuckles.

It was over an inch+ at the knuckle so enough I wouldn't think you'd be able to even drive it on the street.

Any specific year? (what year is the cut-off from old style to newer style), just to be on the safe side.

Thank you sirs,
