That looks like there’s a ton of room in the back. I read somewhere (maybe one of the shops selling the seat brackets) that the rear seats were compatible between crew and extended cab. The difference being-the factory side brackets (that connect the backs to the bottom) moved the seat bottom forward a few inches for the crew cabs.

I love those hot staples! Something I learned after going through almost of a container was to give them like an 1/8 turn after you release the trigger. It gives them some disturbed material.

Or just put the flat iron tip on and smear all the surrounding plastic over them. :Big Laugh:

Yesterday I noticed a 94 3500 on the local lkq site. It had been out there 6 days but I figured I had to go look an see if I could get lucky an I did!

That is an awesome score!!!! Id love to find at extra set of fenders at that price. Did you grab the inner shields? It looks like you did, I'm missing mine.

Ya there are several differences between them. The brackets on the seats are very different between the two. An they are close to the same size but the double cab ones are slightly smaller.

I gave the ones I could the twist, the others got some epoxy over them as well. I need to see about a flat tip for mine, it only came with the staples.

You mean the pieces that cover the gap to the fender bolts? If it had to come off to pull the fenders or was in anyway involved with them, then I took it with me lol.

It’s looking really good. Some people say that style seat is uncomfortable but I like them. The ‘95 60/40 is the F’ing worst.

I have a 95+ 60/40 in the C10 an love it. I pulled the first one an sold it to run an 07+ 40/20/40 setup an they sucked in a reg cab so I pulled that to go back to the 60/40 again. I think they are way better than the captians chairs for sure. I hated those that were in this truck.

Im super happy with the 2016 seats. I've heard alot of people complain about them as well but so far I like them. This might be the family vacation rig this year, so that will lmk how I like them for a long trip. Before I got the 16 seats that 60/40 was slated to go in this one.

Funny how different people have different tastes...

Dually has been on daily duty the past week an half an doing great. I now have 1 gripe with new seats. I can't lean over to unlock or roll down the pass side window anymore unless I flip the console up which means moving all the stuff I set on top of it

I also got sent on a sams run to pickup food for a church event an having the ability to flip the rear seats up saved me a bunch of work as most of the lighter stuff could then go in the cab an I didn't have to worry about getting creative with straps an bungee's. Despite my 1 gripe (which a power lock kit will fix most if it) still really happy with them.

The newer truck console is a product of the truck becoming a contractor's mobile office. It's taller so it can be a desk. I learned on our square body Burbs, Power Locks are necessary for a big 4 door....

Having that rear seat flip up would be SUPER nice!

Took my "spare" truck an picked up something for this one...

I really wanted a newer style one with the frameless windows and/or a flat top but this one was cheap an 8 miles from my shop. It'll do for now after some cleanup and new seals on the front windows. Hopefully the white brightens up some with a good scrubbing.
