So in that handful of change (I didnt go thru them all).. there was a 1968 "D" penny... these are selling for anywhere from $1500-$2500 on ebay. Side note when i was young lad i collected all sorts of stuff.. baseball cards/coins and other things.. I think this one is the rare "error" penny.. Now to find a coin dealer to comfirm.See you can make money working on trucks.....
how old is this buick? UAW on a friday or stoner doing a sound system(probably why you had to fix wiring?)A few years back, when I pulled the interior apart in my Buick to fix some wiring issues, I found an old joint and a 45 ACP bullet!
you can cut the bolts shorter by using a couple nuts , jam them together below the point you want cut, then cut the bolt (saw, cutoff, etc) back off the jam nut , then the other. you can then clean the thread up with a die or a thread file or use as is. the bolt is likely a 9.8,10.9, 12.9 hardness (Unless standard hardware? 8? ) which means its harder metal of courseIm just posting this cause i wanted to replace my rear upper shock bolts and i couldnt find a post that suggested bolt sizes or part numbers. I installed the nitro drop 2's by the way. Installed this morning before the heat showed up.
Doorman bolts: 980-440D (.5" longer than what was in mine.)
Doorman nuts: 982-008D (flanged and nurled)
Note: I installed the belltech UPPER shock relocation brackets and these bolts just barely fit thru from top. I would think a .5" shorter would be better but they didnt have it.
I was able to re-use the bottom bolts.
